About us
Vikki Heron and Rolf Driver design and make innovative and highly finished scenic furniture, structural props and models for Theatre, Opera, Dance and Film.
We trained at the London College of Furniture in Whitechapel and in 1990 opened our first workshop in Brixton.
Studio
Our studio is by the River Thames, a couple of minutes walk from Kew Bridge railway station. A former workshop for Kew Bridge Pumping Works, now the London Museum of Water and Steam. Our space is located at the foot of an early Victorian brick syphon tower, visible from the M4 at Chiswick.
Techniques
Including hand and machined woodwork, laminating and forming, CAD/CAM, metal fabrication and machining, GRP/Epoxy modelling and moulding, upholstered and painted finishes.

We've produced work for the Almeida Theatre, ATG, Bridge Theatre, Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, David Pugh Ltd, Donmar Theatre, ENO, Garsington Opera, Littlestar, Menier Chocolate Factory, The National Theatre, New Adventures, Nimax Theatres Ltd, Playful Productions Ltd, Really Useful Group, The Royal Ballet, Royal Court Theatre, ROH, RSC, Sonia Friedman Productions, Stage Entertainment Ltd and the Young Vic.
Recent productions worked on include 'Sunset Boulevard', designed by Soutra Gilmore, 'Guys and Dolls', designed by Bunny Christie at the Bridge Theatre and 'Aspects of Love', designed by John Macfarlane.
